Approved on 22 October 1985, the 332nd Medical Brigade Distinctive Unit Insignia (DUI), or unit crest, is designed with a silver fleur-de-lis as the foundation. Featuring a blue center petal with a silver centerline, the fleur-de-lis is positioned between two stylized renditions of evergreens; on top of the evergreens is a maroon-colored cross pateé with arms embattled and charged in its center with a small silver cross.
World War II campaign service is denoted by the fleur-de-lis with specific campaigns connoted by certain images or colors: blue and silver stand for the Northern France and Normandy campaigns, while two evergreens beside the fleur-de-lis stand for the Ardennes-Alsace campaign. The embattled turrets suggest the castles found in the Rhineland, and the silver cross at the center indicates the final campaign, Central Europe. The embattled maroon cross signifies the Meritorious Unit Commendation the unit was awarded in the European theater.
