Use the drop-down Style selection box to the right choose between two basic types of Shoulder Sleeve Insignia, or unit patches. “Full-color” was authorized for wear on the discontinued Class A/B Army Green Uniform; its equivalent on the Army Service/Dress uniform is the Combat Service Identification Badge, or CSIB. “ACU” is short for “Army Combat,” and choosing this style brings up a Pattern selection with two choices. Select “UCP” if the patch will be worn on an Army Combat Uniform or other utility uniform manufactured with the Universal Camouflage Pattern. The “OCP” patch is for wear on uniforms issued after July 2015 that were made with the Operational Camouflage Pattern.

The 371st Sustainment Brigade Shoulder Sleeve Insignia was approved on 1 September 2007. A wavy blue band in heraldry typically connotes water, in this case as an allusion to “large creek,” which is the original meaning of the word in the Seneca language. Three stars represent the three conflicts—both World Wars and the War on Terrorism—in which the Brigade received campaign participation credit. An Arrowhead below the wavy band has a dual meaning: It indicates the Arrowhead device that was awarded for its participation in the Luzon campaign, and is also used in Logistics imagery (such as the Transportation Corps’ insignia).
