The specialty mark for Coast Gard Medical Administration Chief Warrant Officers is the caduceus, a winged staff with two intertwined serpents long associated with the delivery of life-saving health care. It is displayed prominently on the Hard and Enhanced shoulder boards worn by Medical Administration CWOs on several types of uniforms and outerwear components, embroidered in gold between the pointed/narrow end of the board and the gold Coast Guard shield above the rank stripe.
Use the selection boxes to the right to select the appropriate shoulder board for you uniform. Note that the Small size is a three-quarter-scale version of the standard board. Chief Warrant Officers may choose the size that best fits their shoulder size regardless of board type.
