Learning to blouse trousers, whether those that are part of the Navy Working Uniform or those worn in ceremonial uniform, is not a particularly hard thing to do—but just because it’s easy to learn doesn’t mean it’s fun to do. That’s where our elastic boot bands, or “trouser blousers,” come in.
Pull your pants legs to the top of your shins and secure the boot band at about the spot where the top of the boot reaches, then roll your pants back down. Now take your fingers and, feeling through the trouser fabric, locate the band, then tuck the trouser material below the band underneath it. Once the band has the trouser fabric secured and out of sight, you can easily adjust it downward to find the perfect spot according to what regulations call for.
Still having trouble? Don’t worry—there are loads of videos on how to use boot bands on YouTube.
