One distinguishing uniform feature of United States Army Generals is a pair of 1/2-inch ornamental gold braids, spaced 1/2-inch apart and sewn on each outside seam of the legs of trousers or slacks worn with the male and female Army Service Uniform, the Maternity Service Uniform, and the male Blue Mess Dress Uniform.
The braids run from the bottom of the waistband to the bottom of the trouser/slack leg. For your convenience, we offer two options for purchasing 1/2-inch gold braid: By the yard (or multiples thereof) or a single 6-yard roll that offers more than enough braid for both stripes on a pair of pants.
