The 160th Aviation Regiment Headquarters beret flash, also called an organizational flash, is worn on the maroon beret, which signifies the unit’s Airborne status. Worn by all Regimental personnel, the flash is placed on the stiffener of the beret, which is positioned so that the flash will be above the wearer’s left eye.
Officers wear their non-subdued, pin-on insignia of grade centered on the flash; NCOs and Junior Enlisted Soldiers wear their Distinctive Unit Insignia (DUI) or, lacking that, their Regimental Distinctive Insignia (RDI). If you're an Enlisted Soldier and need the 160th Aviation Regiment DUI,

Officially called background trimming, the 160th Aviation Regiment HQ oval is worn by personnel in the unit who have qualified for a Parachutist or Air Assault badge. The oval is placed beneath the badge which is centered on the oval (the star and wreath on some Parachutist badges will project slightly above it) and worn on the coats and shirts of Service Uniforms (AGSU and ASU, including the ASU Dress variation) and on the green or blue Army Maternity Tunic (female Soldiers only).
The combination of oval and badge are considered a single item toward the maximum allowable devices on a uniform. When measuring to determine the item’s placement, use the outermost edges regardless of whether those are on oval or the badge.
