Also known as a unit crest or DUI, a Distinctive Unit Insignia is worn by all Soldiers (except General Officers) in units that have been authorized to be issued the device. It is worn centered on the shoulder loops of the Army Green Service Uniform (AGSU) and the blue Army Service Uniform (ASU, Enlisted only) with the base of the insignia toward the outside shoulder seam. Current regulations do not permit the DUI to be worn on the Dress variations of either uniform, however.
Enlisted personnel wear the insignia centered on a shoulder loop by placing it an equal distance from the outside shoulder seam to the outside edge of the shoulder-loop button. Officers (except Generals) wearing grade insignia on the shoulder loops center the DUI by placing it an equal distance between the inside edge of the grade insignia and the outside edge of the button.
More guidance on wear of the DUI is found in DA Pamphlet 670-1, Section 21-22, "Distinctive unit insignia" and 21–3(d) and (e), "Beret" and "Garrison Cap," respectively.

Officially known as the 201st Regional Support Group FEMA Region 4 Homeland Response Force, the 201st Regional Support Group was created through the redesignation of the Georgia Army National Guard’s 78th Troop Command. Homeland Response Forces are specially designed to have the types of personnel necessary to address the most immediate needs following a natural disaster or manmade incident. Among the 577 members that make up a Homeland Response Force are Command and Control (at the brigade and battalion level), security force, search and evacuation, decontamination, medical, and fatality search and recovery personnel.
The 201st Regional Support Group Distinctive Unit Insignia was originally approved for the 201st Quartermaster Battalion in 2006 and then for the 201st Support Group in 2007. Headquartered in Marietta, Georgia, the Group comprises a variety of Georgia Army National Guard support units including Military Police, Transportation, Engineer, Chemical, Support, and Explosive Ordnance, which together are more than capable of "Providing The Keys To Victory."
The Group was most recently called to active Federal duty in February 2023 when more than eighty of its Soldiers were deployed in Europe as part of a rotation of U.S. military forces conducting multinational training and operations. In all, the Soldiers provided support of base operations for more than 60,000 personnel at nine forward operating sites across four nations before returning home at the start of December 2023.
