The 334th Transportation Battalion Distinctive Unit Insignia, also called a unit crest or DUI, prominently incorporates the brick red and golden yellow tones that serve as the branch colors for the Transportation Corps. A golden yellow pile (point-down triangle) forms a “V” that passes through the demi-wheel, highlighting the unit motto of “Victory Flows Through Us.” Counterchanged (alternating) colors are employed here to connote teamwork and cooperation.
On the golden yellow pile is a fleur-de-lis superimposed on a castle. In U.S. military heraldry, a fleur-de-lis almost always represents wartime service in France, while castles are frequently used to recall service in Central Europe, an area with a large number of castles. A wheel at the bottom of the shield represents motor transport, one of the functions of the organization.
The distinctive unit insignia was approved for wear on 12 April 2000.
Note: This insignia may be designated for a unit that is no longer active due to inactivation, redesignation, reorganization, conversion, or consolidation with another unit.

Distinctive Unit Insignias are worn by all Soldiers (except General Officers) in units that have been authorized to be issued the device. It is worn centered on the shoulder loops of the Army Green Service Uniform (AGSU) and the blue Army Service Uniform (ASU, Enlisted only) with the base of the insignia toward the outside shoulder seam. DUIs are not worn on the Dress variations of either uniform, however.
