U.S. ARMY AGSU SOCKS (3 PAIRS)

In its memorandum of 01 June 2020 with the Subject line “Army Green Service Uniform (AGSU) Implementation and Transition,” the Department of the Army announced that the dress socks for the AGSU would be brown, specifically manufactured in Heritage Walnut 567.

But this decision was obviously not written in stone, because in the January 2021 edition of Department of the Army Pamphlet 670-1, the color was changed to Heritage Green 564—the same shade used for the AGSU Coat, Maternity Tunic, Garrison Cap, four-in-hand necktie,  Green Wooly Pullie, and Green Windbreaker.

That’s quite an array of items that will match the new socks, but it doesn’t end there: the upcoming “Ike Jacket” will also be made in Heritage 564. Stay tuned for info on when that classic component will be available for purchase.
