U.S. ARMY FEMALE ENLISTED SERVICE HAT

While Army regulations still specify the beret as the primary headgear with the Army Service Uniform, they also state clearly that both Officers and enlisted Soldiers must also own the Service Cap/Hat. The Service Hat is optional headgear with the Maternity Service and Dress Uniform.

Our Service Hat for female enlisted Soldiers are manufactured to meet or surpass all relevant Army and Mil-Spec regulations. All our hats are new and have never been issued or worn.

With the introduction of the Army Service Uniform, four types of female Service Hats were created: Enlisted, Company-Grade, Field-Grade, and General. The Service Hat for female enlisted Soldiers features a plain brim with an insignia consisting of the Coat of Arms of the United States of America.

The Service Hat is worn so that the hatband creates a straight line around the head that is parallel to the ground. Hair may not be visible below the hat’s front brim, and there should be a space of between ½ to 1 inch between the eyebrow and the brim.
