The 470th Military Intelligence Brigade Combat Service ID Badge (CSIB) is a metal facsimile of the color version of the Brigade’s unit patch (shoulder sleeve insignia) once worn with the now-discontinued Army Green Uniform. CSIBs are worn on the right side of the blue Army Service/Dress uniform coat and the Mess/Evening Mess jacket. Placement varies between male and female Soldiers, and Soldiers wearing the CSIB may wear only one other ID badge alongside it. Full guidance on the wear of the CSIB is found in pages
331 through
333 of Section 22-17, Department of the Army Pamphlet 670-1 (January 2021 edition).
