The 926th Engineer Brigade Combat Service ID Badge (CSIB) is a metal version of the full-color embroidered cloth Shoulder Sleeve Insignia approved for the Brigade, with the same color scheme, imagery, and symbolism. A major component of the 412th Theater Engineer Command, the 926th Engineer Brigade is an Army Reserve Unit that has been headquartered at Montgomery, Alabama since 1949 (except when called into active Federal service). In addition to its Headquarters and Headquarters Company, the Brigade consists of a half-dozen Engineer battalions, each located in a different Southeastern state. These include the 391st (Greenville, SC), 467th (Millington, TN), the 478th (Fort Thomas, Kentucky), the 841st (Miami, Florida), the 844th (Knoxville, TN), and the 926th (Birmingham, Alabama.).
