Our Army Green Trousers for Male Enlisted personnel are components in the Class A and Class B Green Army Green Uniform, the Army’s primary Service uniform from 1954 to 2015. Manufactured in 100 percent polyester, the trousers are straight-legged and cuffless with side and hip pockets (the left hip pocket has a buttonhole tab and button). They feature a rubberized waistband that keeps the shirt neatly tucked in.
Ornamental braid is sewn on the outside seam of each leg of the Army Green Trousers, from the bottom of the waistband to the bottom of the leg, to denote Officer and Enlisted status. Generals wear a pair of black, half-inch braids sewn a half-inch apart; all other Officers wear a single black, 1.5”-inch-wide braid; and Enlisted personnel wear no braid on the Trouser legs.
We ship our Army Green Trousers unfinished at the bottom of each leg so you can have the legs hemmed for a perfect fit. In front, the crease in the legs should reach the top of your foot’s instep, touching the top of the shoe at the shoelaces. In the back, the bottom of the trousers should reach midway between the top of the heel and the top of the standard black oxford shoe in the back.
