A standard clothing bag (issue) garment, the Female Long-Sleeved Army Green Shirt was primarily worn with the Class A and Class B Green Army Service Uniform, the Army’s main Service Uniforms from 1954 to 2015. However, it was also authorized for wear with the Class A Coat as part of the Army Green Dress Uniform, as well as with the Black Unisex Pullover and Cardigan sweaters and the Windbreaker. Specifications and features of the Female Long-Sleeved Shirt include:
- 65/35 polycotton broadcloth, Army Shade 415
- Tucked-in design
- Pre-cured durable press
- Front princess seams
- Convertible collar with stays
- Shoulder loops for slide-on insignia
- Fusible interlining for collars and shoulder loops
The black neck tab must be worn with this shirt when worn with the Class A Coat or when wearing this shirt as the outer garment (Class B Service Uniform), but the neck tab is optional when the shirt is worn with the Pullover or Cardigan sweaters. If Soldiers do wear the neck tab with either of those garments, the shirt collar is worn inside the sweater. If the shirt is worn with Pullover sweater without a necktab, the collars are worn inside, but if the shirt is worn with the Cardigan and no necktab, then the wearer has the option of wearing the collars inside or outside the sweater.
Note: Shirt is sold alone. Shoulder marks or other accessories or insignia are displayed only for illustrative purposes.
