Manufactured for wear on the Army Combat Uniform employing the Operational Camouflage Pattern, the Movement Control Team (MCT) brassard is 1-13/16” in height and 3-1/4” in width and has a hook-and-loop backing. They’re attached to the hook-and-loop pad on the front of the pocket on the left sleeve of the ACU coat, with the top of the insignia at the top of the pad.
Brassards serve to designate personnel who perform special tasks or who deal with the public and are thus a form of identification, but they are not worn at all times. Their wear is authorized only while actively engaged in the duty described on the brassard and it’s necessary to identify personnel by job or duty. Brassards are not permitted when performing staff activities, carrying out routine maintenance tasks, or while on stand-by or on-call status.
