The U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Women’s Dinner Dress Blue Jacket is prescribed for wear at formal evening occasions where civilian attendees would wear black-tie attire. It features the same construction and components as the U.S. Navy and Coast versions of the uniform with the same name except with Auxiliary insignia, mini-medals, and other ornamentation replacing
Worn with no front closure, the bolero-style Women’s DDB Jacket is the focal point of the DDBJ Uniform and features a narrow shawl collar and three silver USCG Auxiliary buttons on each front panel (USN and Coast Guard use gold buttons). Beneath the Jacket is a silver cummerbund (in lieu of USN and Coast Guard gold again). While a plain six-gored, floor-length skirt (it optionally may have a slit at both side seams that reach no higher than midcalf) is often worn with the DDBJ, especially at more formal affairs, dress slacks are an acceptable substitute. With the exception of full-sized AUXOP and Past Officer badges, miniature medals and insignia are worn with this uniform.
