According to a 2018 PowerPoint presentation titled "2019 Coast Guard Auxiliary Uniforms" prepared by U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Commodore Daren Lewis, the Women’s Service Dress White Uniform is worn only by Commodores and Clergy as prescribed for ceremonies and official functions for which civilians would wear wear black-tie clothing.
Because the Coast Guard Auxiliary has traditionally adopted the uniforms of the United States Coast Guard, which in turn has a history of adopting United States Navy Uniforms, our Women’s Service Dress White Uniform Builder features the “choker” style Service Dress White Coat that only recently (2018) began to be issued to Officer and Chief Petty Officers in those services. Female Auxiliarists seeking the old single-breasted Service Dress White Coat with semi-peaked lapels and four Auxiliary buttons can order it instead by

Our Coast Guard Auxiliary Uniform Builder makes it easy to put together your first SDW or just pick out components you need to replace on an existing uniform. If you need to know more about any part of the uniform, just lick on its image to open a new browser tab with more extensive product info.
