In the Coast Guard Auxiliary, the white web belt is worn only with the men’s Service Dress White uniform, which may be prescribed for wear during ceremonies and official functions that do not require the wear of formal wear. The silver tip is made with a satin finish, sometimes referred to as a matte finish because of its non-shiny appearance.
The white web belt does not come with a buckle. The standard buckle is satin silver, but Auxiliarists may also wear a buckle that has been mounted with the Auxiliary emblem; it’s a good idea to have one of each style on hand.
