USMC ANODIZED SLOTTED COAT BELT BUCKLE

This slotted buckle is used to secure the coat belt on the Officer’s Blue Dress coat and on Service coat for both Officers and Enlisted personnel (Enlisted and SNCOs wear the appropriate waist plates on the coat belts for the Blue Dress coat). The slotted design makes the buckle easy to remove for cleaning, maintenance that the anodized finish greatly facilitates.
 
Position the belt so that the buckle covers the bottom button of the coat. When determining coat belt length, remember that the tapered end of the belt should extend from 2.75” to 3.75” beyond the buckle.
