Two iconic images—the unfurled stars and bars of Old Glory and the iconic Eagle, Globe, and Anchor (EGA) of the Marine Corps—are combined on this lapel pin to help you display both your love of country and your respect for one of its most-called upon defenders.
The circular USMC disc is actually a miniature version of the Marine Corps Emblem, which can be used for commercial purposes through a licensing agreement with the Corps’ Trademark Licensing Office. At first glance, it’s very similar in appearance to the Official Marine Corps Seal, but the Seal has the phrase “Department of the Navy” inscribed at the top and “United States Marine Corps” at the bottom. Established on 22 June 1954, the Official USMC Seal is not available for licensing for any commercial usage.
