The white nylon web belt sports the same dimensions as the cotton khaki belt, but is an optional-wear item for males that may be worn only with the white dress trousers of the Blue-White Dress “A/B” uniforms, which are worn by Officers and Staff Noncommissioned Officers.
Blue-White Dress “A” uniforms are prescribed only for official ceremonies, parades, reviews, and formal or semiformal social occasions, and is not authorized for wear on leave or liberty. Blue-White Dress “B” uniforms are worn under the same conditions for which the Blue Dress “B” uniform is prescribed and is also authorized for leave and liberty.
Currently, females are not authorized to wear the white nylon web belt, and the white dress trousers/slacks worn with female Blue-White Dress uniforms are not manufactured with belt loops to accommodate it.
