This sleeve lacing set contains three 30-inch rolls of half-inch-wide black insignia fabric and a single roll (same length) of two-inch wide lacing for the sleeves of an Admiral’s Aviation Working Green (AWG) jacket. The O-10 Flag Officer rank of Admiral’s insignia consists of a single two-inch stripe near the end of the sleeve (the bottom of the stripe is two inches from the sleeve hem) and three half-inch stripes placed at parallel quarter-inch intervals above it.
A sleeve device consisting of a green-trimmed black star is also part of the Admiral insignia for Officers of the Line. (Collar insignia for rank and Corps affiliation are worn by Staff Officers with the AWG uniform). Stars are sewn onto the jacket sleeve a quarter-inch above the top stripe with one ray pointing down, centered between the jacket’s front and rear creases. Head to our

Discontinued in 2011, the Aviation Working Green (AWG) Uniform was a sentimental favorite of many CPOs and Officers (a version was not made for Enlisted Sailors E-6 and below). We continue to manufacture and sell the AWG Uniform in response to high demand from veterans, uniform collectors, and organizations in need of authentic “Aviation Greens” for various reasons.
