Important Inventory Update (11-16-2023)
Our inventory of cummerbunds is currently exhausted due to unusually high demand and a severe shortage of MIL-SPEC fabric. You may still add a cummerbund to your order at this time and when production resumes we will process the oldest orders first, but we cannot guarantee a specific shipment date. Alternatively, you can postpone your order until we have begun production, but be aware that orders will be fulfilled in the order in which they were received and that back-orders will be given precedence.
We apologize for the inconvenience and will update this page when production has resumed.

Male and female Officers and CPOs in the Navy and Coast Guard wear adjustable gold cummerbunds with the Dinner Dress Blue / White Jacket uniforms. Only female Officers wear the gold cummerbund with the Formal Dress uniform; their male counterparts wear a waistcoat instead. Additionally, the same regulations also apply to the Commissioned Corps of the U.S. Public Health Service and Officers in the National Oceanographic Administration, both of which follow the U.S. Navy uniform manual regarding their Officers' uniforms.
Our gold satin cummerbunds fasten in the rear and are adjustable to ensure a proper fit (wraparound-style cummerbunds were authorized for wear with the Tropical Dinner Dress Blue until that uniform was phased out in 2004). They are worn with the pleats upward, with the bottom of the cummerbund overlapping the top of the trousers or skirt by at least an inch.
