Manufactured with a Mil-Spec certified 65/35 poly-cotton blend, this long-sleeved khaki shirt was worn with the Service Dress Khaki Uniform (SDK) that was originally introduced during World War II, was disestablished in 1975, and was brought back temporarily for wear testing between April 2008 and October 2009. Despite approval in January 2010 for an updated SDK with unbelted trousers and peaked lapels to be available at the start of Fiscal Year 2012, the uniform initiative was discontinued in October 2012.
The shirt features two permanent military creases on the front and three in the back and is worn with Officer or Chief Petty Officer collar grade insignia. It is sized using a combination of the neck size and sleeve length in inches which you can specify in the drop-down selection boxes to the right; the absence of a selection box means our inventory is currently limited to a single size in that category.
