The United States Air Force Enlisted Honor Guard Uniform is worn only to, during, and returning from official ceremonies. Although it bears a passing resemblance to the Enlisted Service Dress Uniform (albeit with more insignias and accouterments), the Honor Guard Uniform has several features that elevate it and set it apart from the standard Service Dress ensemble.
Some of these unique design elements include (but are not limited to) a Ceremonial Coat in Air Force Shade 1620 with a European Double Vent; “Hap Arnold” coat buttons With chrome finish; 3/4-inch silver braid on coat sleeves and trousers legs; sewn-on 1/8-inch creases on both coat and trousers; USAF HONOR GUARD Tab; silver aiguillette; chrome ceremonial belt with “wing and star” design; and special Ceremonial Service Cap.
