Except for the display of insignia of rank, the only difference between the Officer and Enlisted versions of the Air Force Honor Guard Coat (aside from display of insignia of rank) is the addition of epaulets to coats worn by Officers. Manufactured at our production facility in North Carolina with Mil-Spec certified materials to meet or exceed all U.S. Air Force regulations and standards, our Officer Honor Guard Coat comes in Air Force shade 1620 (“Air Force Blue”) and sports a European Double Vent in the back.
While Honor Guard Coats are worn with several accouterments such as rank insignia, silver sleeve braid, aiguillette, Honor Guard badges and tabs, and the ceremonial belt, we sell the Honor Guard Coat as a standalone item. Any rank insignia, sleeve braid, medals, belts, badges, tabs, or aguillettes displayed in the images on this page are solely for illustrative purposes and must be purchased separately. A simple way to do this is to use our
Honor Guard Officer Uniform builder; you may also use the Air Force sub-menus to navigate to the product category for each item.
Note: Because virtually all of our customers will need to alter the sleeves of their Honor Guard Coats, we manufacture them with longer, unfinished sleeves to ensure the sleeve is hemmed at precisely the proper length for each customer. We do offer sleeve alteration services for hemming sleeves as well as sewing on chevrons (enlisted personnel) or shoulder loops to hold shoulder boards (officers). Options to select the appropriate alteration services are presented after you add the Honor Guard Coat to your shopping cart.
