Associated with white-tie events in the civilian world of fashion, shirt studs are worn with two types of Marine Corps Evening Dress uniforms for males, the Officer and Staff Noncommissioned Officer (SNCO).
For the Officer’s version, the studs are worn on a white soft-bosom shirt with plain neckband and barrel cuffs designed for cuff links; its pique placket has three stud-ready buttonholes. On the SNCO uniform, the shirt features a turned-down collar and pleated front, with French cuffs and two or three buttholes for shirt studs.
Our shirt studs come in a set of three to accommodate both styles of uniform shirts. The concave design and gold-plating matches that found on the Officer’s and SNCO’s cuff links featuring the USMC emblem.
