Crafted with Mil-Spec certified and USMC-authorized polycotton at our production facility in North Carolina, our white dress shirt with distinctive Mandarin collar is authorized for wear with the USMC Officer’s Blue Dress Coat. It also may be worn by Enlisted personnel with the “A/B” variants of the Enlisted Blue Dress and Blue-White Dress uniforms because there is no shirt prescribed for wear with those uniforms; we also offer it as an option for Navy Officers and Chief Petty Officers and Coast Guard Officers for wear with the Service Dress White Coat.
Also referred to as “neckband-style,” the Mandarin collar-shirt features five pearl buttons, French cuffs (cuff links are required), and a collar stud for the uppermost buttonhole. The shirt’s cuffs should extend to 1/8th of an inch below the bottoms of the coat sleeves when properly sized.
Although the Female Blue Dress uniform introduced in 2018 features the same style of Blue Dress Coat with standing collar as worn by Males, the Corps has not yet authorized a female version of this shirt for wear with it by either Officers or Enlisted personnel.
