U.S. NAVY / USMC WOODLAND MARPAT NAME TAPE
The United States Marine Corps introduced the wear of nametapes and service tapes on the green and desert camouflage uniforms that it shared with other services up until the introduction of the Marine Corps Combat Utility Uniform (MCCUU) in 2003. The MCCUU is manufactured using a copyrighted camouflage scheme called MARPAT, for Marine Pattern, that comes in two variants: Desert and Woodland. This nametape is designed for wear with the Woodland MARPAT uniform.
USMC regulations allow only the last name to be used on the Woodland MARPAT nametape, printed in ¾-inch high block letters (although ½-inch letters are permitted to accommodate Marines with lengthy last names). Only uppercase, alphabetical characters are allowed—no special symbols, numbers, or lowercase letters may be used. The nametape is worn above the right breast pocket.
Enter your last name in the box provided to the right. If you forget to do so, you can still enter name information in the Comments section provided at the Checkout screen; if that is also left blank then we will embroider the purchaser’s last name on the nametape.
Note: Please be aware that it can take up to 10 days to process the embroidered nametags.
