The Marine Corps Service Uniform for Male Officers comes in three different variants, “A” through “C,” that feature the same construction and components as the Enlisted versions but employ different styles of rank display (aside from Service and Garrison Cap devices). Officers wear their insignia of rank on the epaulets of the Service Coat with the Service "A" Unfiorm and on the shirt collars of the "B" and "C" uniforms. (Note: We are currently out of stock of the short-sleeve khaki shirt worn with the "C" Uniform.)
Components of the Male Officer Service “A” Uniform include:
♦ Green Service Coat
♦ Khaki Long-Sleeved Shirt
♦ Khaki Tie (with tie clasp)
♦ Green Service Trousers w/ Khaki Web Belt
♦ Black Shoes and Socks
♦ Black Gloves (in winter, othewise optional)
♦ Dress or Garrison Cap
Badges and sword are prescribable and the green scarf is optional with the All-Weather Coat or Tanker Jacket during winter months. A tie and tie clasp are required with the Service “B” Uniform (“A” version minus the Service Coat), and ribbons rather than medals are worn with all three variations.
