Manufactured in the U.S.A. to meet or surpass all Mil-Spec standards and in accordance with U.S. Marine Corps Uniform Regulations, these subdued buttons are designed for wear on the jacket of the Service “A” uniform. Like their anodized gold counterparts, these buttons feature the Marine Corps logo of an eagle perched upon a fouled anchor, imagery first incorporated into Marine Corps attire as far back as 1804.
In addition to frequently being the Uniform of the Day, the Service “A” is worn at business meetings, informal occasions, ceremonies, and parades. The civilian equivalent of the Service “A” uniform is a business suit or sport coat, with or without a tie.
If you are replacing all the buttons on a Service uniform jacket, you will need four 40-line (Large) buttons and six 27-line (Medium) buttons.
