The Commissioned Corps of the United States Public Health Service uses gilt buttons primarily manufactured in two sizes—35-ligne and 22.5-ligne—and embossed with the Corps device of a caduceus and fouled anchor for its Service, Dress, and other uniforms. While 22.5-ligne buttons are also used for chain link closures on Dinner Dress Jackets and as cap retaining buttons, those items are sold separately
here and
here.
Having extra buttons always on hand is an easy, inexpensive way to be sure you’re always prepared to look your best!
